The little actions.
Because every detail matters, we have implemented complementary initiatives to ensure that every child can fully experience dance, regardless of their financial means:
Shared Dressing Room: A space where children from families with limited income can borrow dance clothes and accessories (leotards, socks, skirts, tights, ballet shoess, hair accessories, etc.). After use, the outfits are returned and washed at our expense to ensure sustainable and fair access.
Inspiring Music: Thanks to a professional dancer who is also a pianist from Berlin, we offer CD of music specially recorded for dance classes. These motivating melodies enrich each class and help students stay motivated and connect with the art of movement.
Professional Equipment: We provide pointe shoes, elastics, ribbons, and even special dye to match the pointe shoes to the skin tone. At the same time, we organize workshops to teach how to sew and prepare pointe shoes like the professionals do.
Cultural Exchange: Dancers invited by Rêve en Mouvement will try their hand at the traditional dances of the countries where they volunteer. They will share their experiences and create videos to showcase their feelings and techniques. You can find these unique moments on our Instagram account: @reveenmouvement.
These small actions make dance accessible, inclusive, and a source of growth for all.
